At these workouts we work on obstacle techniques, training advice, running, and body weight movements. If there is a specific race coming up (KC Timber Challenge, Spartan, CTG, Savage Race and NORAM were big hits this past year) we will build and make obstacles similar to what you will see at that race. You and your friends must face your worst fears by clawing your way through our evil forest. Too Evil for Indoors. Do you dare go into the woods at night? Extreme Timber Challenge (XTC)- Sat, Sept 8th, 2018 – Wave times available from 8am-11:15am The XTC is a 4 mile obstacle course with 40+ unique obstacles including: Hand Held Zip Lines, Devil Steps, Mud Pits, Bluff Climbs, the Vertigo Bus, Inverted Monkey Bars, Rope Climb, Floating Tires, The Great Walls, Tarzan Rings and much more TBA soon! The Timber Challenge is a locally owned & operated permanent obstacle course located on over 100 wooded acres along the bluffs of the Kansas River. We offer a unique experience to ALL levels of athletes from beginners to the elite; this event is for everyone 12+. Registration includes: race entry, t-shirt, souvenir wristband, 3 inch finisher medal, tons of event pictures, water stations, fresh fruit and access to the party zone at the start / finish line.
