ALL KC TIMBER CHALLENGE EVENTS ARE RAIN OR SHINE. WE WILL NOT CANCEL DUE TO RAIN.

NO REFUNDS. There are no refunds if you cannot make it to the event BUT you can transfer your registration to someone else if you’d like.

$10 cash for parking  –  $5 cash for Bag Check (if needed) – $ or card for Merch

Clothes and footwear that you don’t mind getting muddy or torn. COSTUMES are highly encouraged!

We recommend gloves, shoes that support your ankles and eye wear – This is a rugged course with climbing and trail running.

Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and or have completed waiver on files.

How to check in for the event.

1. PACKET PICKUP IS ALWAYS THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT AT Nebraska Furniture Mart is Kansas City KS. If the event falls on a SUNDAY Packet Pickup will be the Sat before the event from 10am-2pm at NFM. If the event falls on a SATURDAY Packet Pickup will be the Friday before the event from 3-7pm at NFM. 

Everyone that COMES to NFM for Pre-registration will receive your choice of either a custom Squatch Koozie or sticker and no fees.

OR

2. Check in the day of the event for a $5 fee. If doing so please come 45 min before your wave time with $5 per person cash OR pay online at the time of registration.

Day of fees will be issued back to you in the form of a $5 voucher good for future events or Squatch merchandise.

If you live more than 30 miles from the event location write info@kctimberchallenge.com for a waived day of check in fee.

Team registration is available for up to 50 participants when checking out.

Team Leaders can make an account, Team Name and Password. Then invite team members to join their team via email or social media. This is an optional feature of our registration system. It is not required. Have fun with it.

This is a personal challenge course designed to push your limits and prove to the world you can UNLEASH YOUR INNER BEAST and defeat the course. We do not usually time the course and you do not have to complete any obstacle you do not feel comfortable with.

We encourage teamwork and safety at all times!

No, this is a personal and team challenge mud and obstacle course.

Please feel free to time yourself and your team at your preference.

Packet pickup will be available the day of the event (Typically $5 fee)

Advance packet pickup will be the day before each event at SCHEELS – 6503 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66223

You will have to have executed waiver for anyone you are wanting to pick up a packet for at time of packet pickup. Challengers under 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian signature.

We encourage teamwork and safety at all times!

YES! Entrance to spectators is free ($10 Parking) and there will be designated viewing areas overlooking a section of the course. For safety reasons the course itself is closed to the public. No outside food or drink, pets, tents or umbrellas are allowed. Cameras are welcome

Event Specific awards and finisher medals! Trophies and Medals may be awarded for best costume, best team costume, biggest team and more.

Our property is located in the rolling back wood bluffs of the Kansas River. We get asked all the time if this is where Sasquatch, Yeti or Bigfoot live. Of course the answer is yes. We have had quite a few sightings and enlisted him as our Mascot.

Beware the “Squatch” for we are letting him loose on the street of Kansas City to motivate you to, “Unleash Your Inner Beast”!

Join the Timber Challenge Team! Volunteers are a vital part of the team from check-in to coaching individual obstacles. Ideal volunteer candidates are energetic motivators who love the outdoors and fitness as much as we do.

WHY? All volunteers get to come out the course and play/test our obstacles in advance of the event.
