How to Register

Sign up as an Individual OR a Team!

If you’re signing up multiple people or have a group it’s easiest to register as a Team. Teams can be anywhere from 1-100 people.

*Make sure you choose the same wave time if your group wants to go thru the course together. Click the + or – button to indicate how many people you are currently registering/paying for. Other people can add on to your team and pay separately at any time.

Choose a Wave Time (aka Start Time)

To avoid crowding we have a rolling start time. Each wave time is half an hour apart so you’ll have 29 minutes after your start time to begin. Listen to the announcer as we’ll be calling up small groups every 5 minutes. Remember that this is a challenge, not a race, and most importantly, have fun!

PRO TIP- If you don’t have a start time preference, sign up for the “Flexible Wave”. We’ll assign you to a wave time 1-2 weeks prior to the event date. If you are on a team and have all signed up for the flex wave then everyone on your team will be in the same wave time.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pickup is at Nebraska Furniture Mart Saturday, July 29th from 10:00am-2:00pm.

NFM is located at:

1601 Village West. Parkway Kansas City, KS

(We’ll be in the back left side of the store by electronics).

Everyone will receive a T-Shirt, START TIME “BIB” and WRISTBAND at packet pickup. You must have your wristband & bib at the start line.

*If you cannot make it to packet pickup on Sat, July 29th you can get your packets the day of the event for a $5 fee per person; which is re-issued to you as “Squatch Bucks” valid for any of our merch. If you live over 30 miles away just show your ID while checking in and your fee will be waived.

Please arrive 45 minutes before your start time if you are doing day-of check in.

FAQ & Event Information

  • PARKING

    Parking is $10/car CASH ONLY - Parking is only allowed in our designated lot that is clearly marked with parking attendants.

  • BAG CHEECK / GLOVE PURCHASE

    Bag Check is available for $5 / Utility gloves are available for $10

  • SPECTATORS

    Spectators are allowed and are free of charge (except for parking). There will be a spectator bus that will take them to and from the top of the hill to view several obstacles. Spectators will also need to fill out a waiver once they are on the bus shuttle.

  • OBSTACLES

    Several obstacles have EASIER/HARDER options to choose from & almost every obstacle can be bypassed if you can't/or don't want to do it. There are no "penalties". Parents will NOT be allowed to hold their child across the Zipline obstacle. If you or your child cannot swim do not do the zip line obstacle. There will be arrows showing you how to pass the zip lines. Long hair will need to be tied back in a low pony tail.

  • SHOWER AND CHANGING TENTS

    SHOWERS & CHANGING TENTS are available. Please use the separate designated area to clean off shoes before getting in the shower line so we have enough water for everyone. We strongly suggest to bring a fresh set of clothes to change into.

  • CANCELATION POLICY

    If you cannot make it to the event we DO NOT offer refunds. THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE. IF for some reason we must cancel due to weather you will receive a credit good for any KC Timber Challenge event in 2024

Had tons of fun this course is awesome The staff is very helpful and supportive. A woman got sick but had the heart of a lioness and refused to give up. So they finished the course with her. It was AWESOME!
